Questions
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?
No. Just six pieces of information—your gender, birthdate, health, tobacco use, coverage amount, and term length—let you see actual rates from each carrier. Names, addresses, and detailed health records are only needed if you decide to apply.
Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?
They are what each carrier quotes for the health category you chose. After you apply, underwriting may confirm that category, move you to a better one, or adjust it. These quotes are estimates only and are not an insurance offer or a price guarantee.
What happens when I click Apply?
Your application picks up exactly where your quote left off on the carriers' secure platform. You can pause and come back, and all signatures are electronic. Susman Insurance Agency, a licensed California insurance agency (License 0B75129), processes your application.
Will I need a medical exam?
That depends on the carrier you pick, the coverage amount, and your answers. Some carriers can make instant decisions for qualifying applicants; every quote tells you whether an exam is required, might be required, or is not required.
Is a longer term better?
You want coverage for the stretch of years when your income matters most—to cover the mortgage, kids at home, or a business obligation. Longer terms cost more monthly but hold the rate steady for longer. Try 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30 years to see the tradeoffs.
Does this site sell my information?
No. The quote tool never collects names or contact information, we do not buy or sell visitor data, and we measure visits without cookies. The privacy page lists exactly what data exists and who has access to it.
